This is key to our on time and to the specification delivery capability. All of this capability under one roof gives us complete control over your project’s quality, lead time, and cost.
Our in-house toolroom is not just a repair shop—it’s a high-precision manufacturing center dedicated to building, maintaining, and rapidly servicing your tooling.
Having a full precision machine shop, we can build complex progressive dies, create replacement components, and perform preventative maintenance without ever needing to ship a tool to an outside supplier. A press is only as good as its die.
We build and maintain our own “Class A” tooling for perfect, repeatable parts.
Our AWEA 1600 Vertical Machining Center features a massive 63" x 31.5" work envelope. This gives us the in-house capability to machine, repair, and maintain the large, heavy-duty dies required for our 600-ton presses.
We operate both Charmilles Wire EDM and GenSpark Sinker EDM machines. This allows us to create complex tool geometries, sharp internal corners, and intricate features from hardened tool steel—precision impossible to achieve with milling alone.
Our ability to service tools in-house is your production guarantee. With our own heat-treat ovens and precision grinders, we perform rapid preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, drastically reducing downtime and ensuring your line is always running.
Our grinding department, featuring a large 42" Blanchard Grinder and multiple high-precision surface grinders, allows us to achieve the critical flatness, tight tolerances, and sharp cutting edges required for "Class A" cosmetic parts and maximum tool life.
